Chrissy Adams has spent her entire professional career prosecuting criminals and working to make our state’s justice system work more efficiently and effectively. Today she is serving her first term as 10th Circuit Solicitor having won the 2004 GOP Primary and later the general election where she ran unopposed. Prior to her election, Adams served the 10th Circuit as Assistant Solicitor and Deputy Solicitor, beginning in1999. Her prosecutorial career began in 1994 when after graduating from the University of South Carolina’s School of Law, she was appointed as an assistant solicitor in Charleston serving the
9th Circuit. In 1997, she began service as a prosecutor in the 13th Circuit and shortly thereafter was recruited by then Solicitor George Ducworth to join his staff in
the 10th Circuit. In the 14 years she has been working as a prosecutor, Chrissy Adams has prosecuted hundreds of cases and gained a firm understanding for how to bring justice to the community while protecting tax dollars.
A Clemson University graduate, Adams has long been dedicated to the community of Anderson and Oconee. In addition to serving as solicitor, she currently serves on the Anderson County Alternative School Board, the Carolina First Advisory Board, the Tri-County Technical College
Foundation Board, and the Tri-County Technical College Criminal Justice Advisory Committee. She is a member of the SC Solicitor’s Association, the National District Attorneys Association, the SC Bar, the Oconee County Bar, the Anderson County Bar and the Seneca Golden Corner Rotary Club. She is a past member of the Oconee Republican Women’s Club and is a member of the Anderson Republican Women’s Club.
A Seneca resident, Chrissy and her husband Eddie have two sons, Gregory and James.
