Only ONE candidate knows our issues and our people having lived and worked in the 10th Circuit for almost a decade.
In a second term, Solicitor Adams will continue her office’s aggressive prosecution style that has lead to stronger conviction rates and more criminals being sent to state prison. She will also remain someone the taxpayers can trust with running an efficient office that respects the use of their tax dollars. Other priorities include:
Identity Theft
We all know the dangers of identity theft and the devastation that it can cause in our life. New laws have been passed against identity theft and we will aggressively use them to protect our elderly and other victims of fraud.
Protecting Our Children
There is no criminal more despicable than someone who would prey upon the innocence of a child. We have averaged 20% more child molesters sent to prison than the previous administration and will continue to improve these numbers and keep our children safe.
Communication with Law Enforcement
Our success in the courtroom is strongly tied to our ability to work with members of law enforcement. The last three years have seen tremendous gains in this area and we will continue to improve communications and train law enforcement on the ever-changing laws they are tasked with enforcing.
Adult Drug Court
Drug Courts are shown to reduce crime and save taxpayer dollars. We have launched our Circuit’s first ever Drug Court and will expand on this success by bringing the program into Oconee County.
Gang Task Force
Gang activity remains a threat to our community and we must come together as a community to stop it. Solicitor Adams has been an active member of the Anderson Gang Task Force and will remain an integral part of this important initiative.
School Truancy
We will work with school districts in Anderson and Oconee to ensure that our national award winning truancy program keeps meeting their needs.
